Athletics Carnival 

After a rainy couple of years, we got lucky with a beautiful sunny day on Friday 5th May. It was a brilliant day that had house spirit in spades and saw huge numbers participating throughout the day 

Some highlights were the fantastic “Through the Decades” costumes in house colours that had all the staff reminiscing about their fashions from the years gone by. The relays were another great moment during the day where the volume of cheers from each of the houses surely pushed the competitors around the track. 

The house captains (Soufia, Tahlia, Maddie and Izzy) once again did an outstanding job, organising their house competitors and keeping house spirit remained high throughout the day.  

A big thank you also goes to the wonderful staff at Mercy College who worked tirelessly all day to make sure the day ran smoothly and efficiently. All your efforts are very much appreciated.
